Which Pixel Goes on Which Fan Link

Add Meta, TikTok, Spotify and Google pixels to Fan Links so every click builds a retargeting audience, even where the destination site does not take your pixel.

Pixels on a Fan Link fire on the AndR layer before the fan reaches the destination. That means a click on a ticket link, a streaming link or a store link can feed an ad audience, even when the ticketing site or store does not let you add your own pixel. You set pixels per link, so each link feeds the audiences you will actually advertise to.

Step 1: Open Tracking & Cookies

Create a Fan Link or click Edit on one, then open Tracking & Cookies. Under Advertising Pixels you see four platforms: Meta, TikTok, Spotify and Google. A pixel that is already connected shows its masked ID and a tick. One that is not shows Set Up.

Step 2: Add a pixel ID

Click the platform card. Paste the pixel ID into the ID field and click Save. Learn More links to the guide for finding that ID.

Where to find each ID:

Already set up pixels on another link? Use Import Pixels to bring them in.

Step 3: Match the pixel to the next ad

Put a pixel on a link when you plan to advertise to the people who click it on that platform. Some common setups:

  • Ticket and tour links: the platforms where you run on-sale and last-ticket ads.

  • Release and streaming links: the platforms where you push the release, plus Spotify if you advertise inside Spotify.

  • Merch drops: the platform where the drop ads will run.

  • The Marquee page: every pixel you use, because it is the link most fans see.

Step 4: Read the pixel icons in the table

On the Fan Capture tab, the Pixels & Cookies column shows which pixels are on each link and the consent setting.

Paused pixels

A pixel can be paused on a link, for example when a client asks to stop pixel tracking for a while. The link's Overview then shows the pixels as Paused, and they do not fire until switched back on.

Pixels and consent

Pixels set cookies, so the cookie consent mode on the same tab matters. For fans in Europe, use Full. See Choose a Cookie Consent Mode and Fan Data, Consent, and the Law.
